AMNESIA 28. Sep - 08. Dec 2013 at Haugar Artmuseum

"AMNESIA is the poetic, Greek word for forgetfulness and loss of memory. Amnesia is a condition suffered first and foremost by those who damage or lose their memory. The causes of memory loss can be many and complex: disease, accidents, and trauma may play a part. It may also be linked to repression, when the brain induces a temporary amnesia to keep out unwanted impulses for a period of repair and healing – at least for a while."
